seeing Perry's face at the surprise. :)

I originally planned to leave the house at 12:45pm, since I told everyone to be in place by 1pm. But VJ and Paulo SMS'd me that they'd be late, so I left the house at 1pm with Chino, and headed for Moro. On the way there, Rapao called and told me that they had inquired about our reservation and were told that the court wasn't reserved. Needless to say, I began to have a panic attack. I told him to contact Raph, because he was the one who made the reservation. Golly, I began to totally freak out at this point.

I arrived at Moro, trying not to calm down and getting ready. Paeng, Migo, Eric, and Rapao were already there. (I loved that they were on time, by the way.) I talked to the lady at the desk, and asked about our reservation and the situation was clarified. But it turned out that they wouldn't uncover the court until they saw the receipt. This got me worrying, because my next stop was to pick up VJ and Paulo, then we would kidnap Perry, and I didn't want us to arrive at Moro with the court still covered. Tara then arrived, and I left for Mcdo.

Ironically enough, I was the last one to arrive at McDo. I told Paulo the problem with the covered court and we unsuccessfully attempted to contact Raph. VJ did his best to calm me down. I must've looked like a total lunatic: pacing around, stopping, half-dancing, distorting my face then sitting down and tapping the table - all in what my brother described as "a perky Goth outfit." (I was in black jazz pants, a navy shirt with a flaming Batman logo, and high pigtails whose hairties didn't match - one was yellow, the other was purple.) We left shortly when we learned that most of the players were already at Moro.

On the way to Perry's house, the three of us made smalltalk over the CD playing in the van - Sponge Cola's Palabas. When we got there, we decided that Paulo would be the only one to get down, so as not to make anything seem out of order. What Perry knew was they were playing a game at Celeb with someone's kuya, with Paulo, Marvin, Ralph and Iforgothisname (sorry! basta the guy who told us what happened when Paulo dislocated his knee last summer). Paulo was supposed to blindfold Perry and lead him along with the other guys to the car. So Paulo got off the car, and I moved up front. While waiting, VJ and I made more small talk. I saw Ate Rita leaving, and I called to her from the car. The boys took a bit of a while to leave the house, so I started to worry, because the driver still had to run an errand for my mom, and I didn't ask for permission for the driver to take that long. It would look seriously suspicious if it took him too long to get back.

The boys finally emerged from the house, toting a very amusing, blind Perry, who was trying to figure out what on earth was happening. XDD It was the funniest thing ever, having the guys joke around. I tried not say a word, because I didn't want him to know that I was in the car. He kept trying to guess who was in the car though. Sponge Cola's Palabas was still in the stereo, and he was like, "Isa lang ang alam ko sa 'ting may Sponge Cola CD. Si Ramon." I was, of course, offended. :p Just to confuse Perry a little more, I started singing along with the music softly. Haha, he was perplexed and kept saying, "May kumakanta, may kumakanta!" to which the others would reply to with "Si Ang lang yun, si Ang lang yun - 'ta mo," and Ralph would jokingly sing. Mejo nabisto na kami nung nandun na kami sa Ateneo, because the guard stopped us to ask where we were going, and the driver answered "Moro." So the boys began to joke saying "Morong, Perry. Morong! Yung sa dulo ng Antipolo!" Basta, super laughtrip the ride to Ateneo.

When we got there, Paulo, VJ and I went ahead to tell the people we were there already and we waited for Perry to go through the doors. Marami-rami din ang nakapunta. Aside from the people who came with us and those already mentioned above, nandun sina Balma (who I love for helping me plan), Bingo, Edji, Gerry, Mendel, and Carla. When he finally got there, someone removed the blindfold and we all greeted him in different fashions. Sumunod na lang sina Michiko, Tirona at Trins.
